We take your personal privacy seriously. This page is intended to inform you of our policies for collecting, using, securing, and sharing non-public personal information. Our website address is: https://www.c6aerial.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We store user input data sent through the contact forms on this website, along with meta information about the submissions, including the time stamp, the origin IP address, and the user agent (browser). The information is also stored in the database on our hosting server for backup and later reference purposes.

Although 99.9% of our communication is via email, you may contact us on our business line. Some clients request project updates via text. Should you request text updates:

  1. When opted-in, you will receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number. These kinds of messages may include details about an ongoing or tentative project.
  2. You can opt-out of this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number. After you text “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just email us with the request, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  3. Carriers, such as T-Mobile and AT&T are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  4. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. We do not send promotional or marketing texts. The only texts you could receive from C6 Aerial will be based on your request and/or ongoing project updates.
  5. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
  6. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please contact Support at info [@] c6aerial.com.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Google Analytics Advertising Features

Demographic and interest information is being collected in Google Analytics. This information is used to provide a better user experience. To opt out of Google Analytics’ data collection, visit tools.google.com. On this site, the only analytics gathering service we use is Google Analytics, as explained in the Cookies section above.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments and business inquiries may be checked through an automated spam detection service including, but not limited to, Google reCAPTCHA.
